Itinerary:
Day 1 : Marrakech, Ouarzazate, Sakoura, Kelaa Magouna
Our driver will meet you at your riad or hotel where you will be picked up,then depart Marrakech and transport over the High Atlas mountains Tizi N Tichka pass, taking time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes, and have coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice.you will enjoy the berber life of Ait Ben Haddou,this Kasbah has featured in more than 20 films,including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia which was the first to be filmed here.After lunch,you will head to Film studios,it hosts the largest movie studios in the world,before you continue to the Rose Valley and visit the amazing Kasbah of Amerhidil in Skoura,this Kasbah is situated by the Amerhidil River, is one of the largest in Morocco. Dinner and over night in Kelat Magouna.
Day 2 : Kelat Magouna, Boumalne Dades, Tinghir, Arfoud, Merzouga
Following breakfast,you depart for the Dades Gorges via the valley and stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery,then continue to Tinghir and 20km after, its fabulous canyons, the Gorges Todra Canyons. Free time to walk around the “Gorges”, enjoy the river and the fabulous views. Lunch at a local restaurant. After midday we drive to Tinjedad, with its old underground irrigation system ,and Touroug Palm Plantations reaching Erfoud town for a visit of a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi, also known as the Dunes of Merzouga.Dinner and over night in Merzouga.
Day 3 : Merzouga, Erg Chebbi, Merzouga
After breakfast,you will start an amazing trip around the dunes while passing by Merzouga, the wandering deposit, the village of Khamliya (village of the Gnaoua) ,mines of Mifiss, the plates desert meeting the Berber nomads of the desert, oasis Tissardemine, and return to the hotel around 4 p.m, for camel trekking attending the sunset and spend the night in Berber tents in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and over night in a Bivouac(camp).
Day 4 : Merzouga, Alnif, Nkoub, Zagora
After an unforgettable quiet night among the sand dunes of erg chebbi and in nomad’s land, you will admire the sunrise upon the dunes, then a typical breakfast is served and return back with camels to the hotel to meet your driver, shower and leave to Rissani, you will explore its touristic area including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and the palm tree grove as a part of your exploration. Lunch break in Nkoub , then we continue to Zagora via Draa Valley. Dinner and night at your hotel in Zagora.
Day 5 : Zagora, Ouarzazate, Marrakech
Following breakfast,you will leave Zagora,driving through Draa Valley and Agdez.You will follow the route to exploring Draa river as one of the longest rivers in Morocco.originating in the high atlas mountains.enjoying also its green palm grove(Date,Olives,and Almonds .),the green foliage is an indication of the relatively good irrigation of the valley in this area.After you will continue to Ouarzazate where you will visit the Taourirt Kasbah( Incredible examples of various buildings that are uniquely constructed from earthly materials).After lunch,you will continue driving back to Marrakech via High Atlas Mountains.
