7 Days from Marrakech The Caravan of the South
1st day – Marrakech
Greeting at airport and transfer to hotel. You choose your excursion. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
2nd day – Marrakech-Taroudant (280 km)
After breakfast, departure on 4×4 for Taroudant via Tizi n’Test, one of the most impressive mountain roads in Morocco. Visit of Taroudant, ìthe pearl of Soussî also called ìlittle Marrakechî. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
3rd day – Taroudant-Tata (200 km)
We continue through the first foothills of the Anti Atlas up to Ighrem (fortified village). This is where the trail starts, in a very picturesque landscape, to reach the Souk Tleta in Tagmoute. Lunch in this oasis, then departure for Tata. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
4th day – Tata-M’Hamid (about 380 km)
Morning departure for Foum Zguid. We continue towards M’hamid along the dunes of Ch’gaga, inhabited by many nomad encampments. Dinner and night in bivouac in this exceptional desert.
5th day – M’Hamid-Zagora-Ouarzazate (280 km)
We continue towards Zagora (visit of the Tamegroute library) and Agdz. Arrival in Ouarzazate, visit of the famous Kasbah of Taourit. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
6th day – Ouarzazate-Marrakech (250 km)
Departure for Marrakech, across the High Atlas through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2 260 m). Stop at the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, where you will have the chance to meet the local population that will let you discover its lifestyle. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
7th day – Marrakech
You choose your excursion. Dinner and accommodation in hotel.
8th day – Marrakech
After breakfast, transfer to airport and flight back home
